I am absolutely amazed. I came across pictures of the new Cook County Corrections Center in Chicago, Illinois.

I understand when you are actually in prison, the lack of ones freedom is the real punishment.

I do not understand how the government overcompensating for the lack of ones freedom is still considered punishment.

No wonder illegal immigrants are not taking advantage of Immigration and Custom Enforcements “Operation Planned Departure” in Chicago, Illinois. Why would they want the security of NOT being arrested in Cook County?

Which would you rather have? The above living conditions,(even if you can’t come and go as you please), running hot and cold water, electricity, telephone, three square meals a day, and a nice bed to lay your head on. OR

Home sweet home in your very own Mexican Palace.

It would be tempting, if I could get a guarenteed lockdown in COOK COUNTY CORRECTIONS, to jump the mighty wall myself and not even look for illegal work, just arrest me and let me serve my time in luxury, hell.. Give me a life sentence. No wonder Americans have to pay such heavy taxes.
