I have seen many debates involving criminals, punishments, rehabilitation, and the death penalty. In general, although skeptical and at times cynical, I am a hopeful person; I look for the hidden good and beauties within society. I root for the underdogs, I seek and promote positive change.
Sadly, it is a fact, there are many useless souls who walk amongst us, people who I feel, are incapable of any type of rehabilitation or change, people who will continue to suck the life from everyone they meet until they, themselves, take their final breath.
Today’s news reaffirmed these thoughts of mine as I read about three little girls being prostituted repeatedly by their own Mother and Father:
Mexican prosecutors say they have arrested a couple for allegedly prostituting their girls, aged 7, 9 and 13.
The federal Attorney General’s Office says in a statement that Juan Gutierrez Conde and Virginia Maldonado Obregon from the central state of Tlaxcala allowed a man to rape the girls in exchange for money.
It says the man who allegedly raped the girls was also arrested.
The office said Friday that it had received several complaints accusing the couple of offering their girls in exchange for money to pay their rent. It says the girls are in the care of government social workers.

As a parent of three beautiful children, I cannot fathom the idea of placing any of them in any type of harms way, I would prefer death, myself, a million times over.
Can you tell me, is it possible for such people to change? Will they, after prison and rehabilitation, feel remorse and one day become model members of society? Is it possible that some people are not worth the air they breath in our world? Is it possible some people are “just born bad”? Is it possible the people the harm will ever really recover?

I just hope and wish that these poor little darlings can recover eventually and have fulfilling happy lives.
Millions upon millions of People have children they can’t afford and don’t want so they dispose of them on the streets. Sold into slavery, ’married’ off to old men, prostituted or just abandoned. This is the plight of ’Street Children’ all over the world.
I wonder how unethical it would be to spike the drinking water with birth control? {before you flame me, I was just joking about the water.}
ofcourse, its good to be broad minded but you need not to say things that just can not fit a rationale mind.
Since the child has no ability to agree to marriage, it is not a marriage, it is a lie told by people who have been made sick and twisted by religion.
I was FULL grown and I, alone with my husband decided on marriage, no one sold me, no money was exchanged, the only signatures on our marriage license is mine, my husband and the court official who records the marriages.
The parents had absolutely NO say in who we married. The same with my parents and their parents before them. That is a real marriage.
what you are saying is the ugly truth and a very sad fact of life. It shouldn’t be but it is.
I don’t believe that even the majority of the animal kingdom are as cruel to their offspring as humans we can be and we have birth control.
We just pretend like birth control never existed before ’The Pill’ because it was forbidden knowledge. Forbidden by those who needed large numbers of people to pad the church/synagogue/temple/mosque rolls.
The fact that by withholding the knowledge they could cause untold poverty and suffering was just an added bonus. Where were these people going to turn when they were suffering? Who was going to be there with open arms and some crumbs of bread? The same people who would exchange that devotion for a sword when their power was threatened.
All quiet devious and it has remained unchecked for thousands of years. So here we are in 2009 with dozens of safe, effective, inexpensive forms of birth control and people are still having children that they can’t feed and don’t want because of a mindset cultivated for so long that it is choking the humanity out of us.
They are not worth calling humans and animals never involve in such things.
