Wipe the Blow off Your Nose and Open Your Eyes!

Can anyone say the War on Drugs is working? Is it reasonable to think drugtrafficking can be terminated while demand runs endlessly? Is it even possible supply and demand have no correlation? Can one country fight a war for two independent countries?

I pray daily for a war with Mexico. Mexicans are a disgraceful people who have an even more disgraceful government. Let them fight their own drug war. I dare those cartels to even try coming HERE.

America needs to nuke Mexico and take over the oil wells. Making Cancun American soil would be nice too. Anonymous in Indianapolis

Is it possible for a human being to be so intellectually challenged that spewing the above quote would actually make sense? My response to Anonymous in Indianapolis is: “Wipe the blow off your nose and open your eyes..Your line of recreational nose candy is costing us our lives!”

Ever see the Brad Pitt movie Babel? It’s a sad reality, our lives intersect in ways we may never consider. I agree, YOU have a right to your recreational vices, but it’s come down to the point where your weekend blow and weed fix has trumped MY rights, that I have a problem with. You’re taking MY right to raise my children in a safe and secure environment. You may very well, at any given time, take MY very right to live. Are you starting to see the big picture? My Drug War is Your drug War.

The BBC News is reporting that the drug related violence in Mexico was especially intense this weekend: Eleven were killed, including a young girl. This violence came shortly after at least one thousand people marched through Tijuana demanding and end to the violence. Even worse, this violence comes after the brutal kidnapping/murder of a young boy earlier this month. So what is Mexican president, Felipe Calderon doing about all this? Congratulating himself on job well done. Of course. You can always count on the Mexican government to be in step with it’s people.

Viverlatino.com

It’s so easy to sit and judge someone and their efforts, especially when one doesn’t own a mirror. Is it bloody here? Without a doubt. Is it lawless? Damn close. Mexico is heading towards an anarchy, the cartels are simply too strong. While President Calderon’s efforts are impressive, it is simply a losing battle. We can’t stop YOU from getting what you want, no matter how many lives we sacrafice. I find it incredible the U.S. has the technology to spot a pimple on a mole’s ass in Taiwan, but can’t spot narco tunnels built into their own territory and used to recieve drugs from Mexico and supply arms to Mexico. Where does YOUR responsibility lie? Where are YOUR efforts?

Plan Mexico is not a plan, it’s a farce. We are fighting a war for both countries. Let the U.S. keep the money, there is not an amount of money in this world that can genuinely stop supply to demand, especially when there is no true interest in stopping it. As for Anonymous in Indianapolis’ wish to see the cartels try to enter the U.S.: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.

Wipe the Blow off Your Nose and Open Your Eyes!

This isn’t a game, I could easily wish for the U.S. to fight their own war, let them deal with the cartels, but seeing your children dead, would not bring back ours. I wouldn’t wish the blood and violence we are living on my worse enemy. The truth is, our lives are the only thing stopping you from getting your wish, Anonymous. Believe it or not, there are many who still beleive this war can be won, with or without YOUR help. There are still men and women in Mexico, amongst our disgusting people and our disgusting government as you tenderly put it, that are willing to bet their lives on their hope for a safer world for you and I. Eventually, the cartels will take them too, it is then, after wiping their hands of Mexico, they will knock on YOUR door, looking for YOUR child, wife, or husband. It is then you will begin to see mutilations, decapitations, torture, and corruption up close and personal. Lastly, it is then, Anonymous, if we do not act fast to create a true bilateral plan, hope will be lost..for both of us.

I tend to think Anonymous can’t think too far out of his/her own box, sadly if some serious planning isn’t done quickly, he/she won’t need to see past their own backyard...

Seth, you are too much polite, that guy is not a dumbass, but I guess I can’t use all the words that I normally would use to refer to such a trash person.

The cartels are in our forest growing cannabis is because there is money in it. The only reason there is money in growing and selling cannabis is because of cannabis prohibition, which is directly caused by our own retarded government.

If the government would stop being such a bunch of closed minded people we wouldn't have the problem with the cartels we do now, we wouldn't have as much gang violence associated with drugs, well at least not cannabis.

I agree....

It is all about prohibition, but it’s quite unlikely legalization is on the horizon.. Cannabis would be a good start and would definitly slow the mayhem....

Besides, government would get much much more money! It’s a win-win situation.

The War on Drugs is as ignorant as the War on Terror. These so called "wars" could very well be the downfall of our society simply for the fact that they are ubiquitously ambiguous.

They can mean what ever the framer wants, at any time, for any reason. Which is why it will never end.

I agree.. The drugs and so-called terrorist will be whoever is wanted, wherever they’re wanted, whenever it¡s convenient. War, please...Money Machines are what they are, political strongarms, but nobody is actually looking to WIN, just maintain and divert.

Thanks for dropping by Manuel..You’ve got a friend in Mexico looking for an end to bullshit for us both...

The media needs to get on board in regard to the failed drug war. They've ignored it far too long. And the funny thing is, there is so much "make America cry" material in there, with families split apart, sick people sent to jail, etc. Doesn't anyone else find it odd they haven't jumped all over these stories yet? And where are the so-called Hollywood elite? Don't they hate this crap as much as we do?

One would think it would be all around the world a thousand times over.. only shows it’s b.s. We, not you nor I, cannot ever win a war that’s not being fought.

Mexican Drug Cartels....hmm. The day after repeal of the drug laws, our streets will be safer. Real drug education can begin. Drug dealers will be gone. Organized crime will take an $80 billion cut in pay. We will live in a safer and freer country.

Amen to that Bo..

The real work can then begin, education..

I hope to see the day when we both can live in safer, freer countries, my friend.

The "War On Drugs" is a war against personal freedoms. After Reagan closed down military bases in the 80's, the military contractors had to make money somehow, so they built prisons, filled with those arrested due to the false "War On Drugs". America went from War economy to prison economy, now they have both.

War makes money..The money spent takes a small detour and then boomarangs right back into the same pocket.. People are dying..Our kids are dying..

I’m not trying to place blame on the U.S....we’re both screwed here.

Read a few of my post here on IB, theis is fu-ked to say the least. and for what? What war are we trying to win? What’s the goal, the objective?

It's funny just for fun I was looking through the "facts" on abovetheinfluence.com, and they just make me laugh so much. They're still pushing that marijuana is 4x more likely to cause cancer than a tobacco cigarette. The more they lie, the less teens are willing the listen, and will continue to commit "horrible deeds" like doing drugs.

Alcohol and cigarettes are EVIL KILLERS we’re told, but perfectly legal..

How many people die of clogged arteries ? Are fats and frieds foods illegal?

Illegal is killing..Just legalize and make a true taxable buck for the shit.

What about deaths from drugs? Well here are the figures: each year while alcohol kills 150,000 and tobacco kills 390,000, 400 people die from heroin, 200 from cocaine, 0 from marijuana. And remember that almost all the deaths from illegal drugs are directly caused by Prohibition. To borrow from the gun-rights' bumper sticker: illegal drugs don't kill people; drug LAWS kill people.

I’m hearing you..

People seem to think by legalizing drugs, suddenly it heroine will be for sale in 7-11 for all 6 year olds to buy with their weekly allowance..The people that are buying now, will buy then..The people who don’t buy now, won’t buy if legalized...Not a big deal really.

Regulations always come with legalizations..It wouldn’t be opening the world up to A hard drug buffett.
